Bearing/gear heated with a Simatherm induction heater expands, which facilitates the installation onto the shaft. Only a few minutes of heating will be enough - the advantage of acceleration in the production process and lower energy consumption. In the warm-up process, only the work piece is heated but the equipment itself remains cold.
Simatherm induction heater warms only pieces of metal, so bearing sealants, for example, and the grease doesn’t heat up. This enables that the bearings can be greased before installing onto the shaft.
Automatic demagnetization is standard equipment in Simatherm heaters. Bearing demagnetization reduces the risk of a premature bearing damage.
